Attend at least 3 Head Start activities listed (on the FCR 2025 Male Engagement calendar) with your child to earn your Golden Ticket. That's it!

Child & Parent Activities (Ages 0–5)
Capturing Moments That Matter
At the Center/School
- Welcome Walk Photo Stop – Greet teachers and take a photo at the Welcome Wall.
- Storytime Together – Parent reads a book and snaps a photo with the class.
- Family Art Wall – Create handprints or doodles together and pose by your artwork.
- Snack Chef Day – Make a healthy snack and take a “Mini Chef” photo in aprons.
- Mystery Reader Moment – Surprise the class with a story and capture the excitement.
- Building Together – Build with blocks or LEGO’s and photograph your creation.
- Music & Movement Time – Dance or play instruments—snap an action photo!
- Family Tree Activity – Add family photos to the class tree and take a selfie together.
- Center Garden Visit – Water or plant seeds, then take a “Green Thumb” picture.
- Learning Stations Tour – Rotate through learning centers and capture smiles at each stop.
Outdoor/Community Fun
- Park Play Picnic – Swing, slide, and picnic—capture playtime joy.
- Library Adventure – Visit storytime and take a photo picking out books.
- Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt – Find shapes, colors, and textures; end with a “Treasure Found!” photo.
- Family Field Trip – Explore a zoo, museum, or farm—pose like explorers!
- Chalk & Bubbles Day – Draw and play; take colorful photos.
- Community Helper Tour – Visit local helpers and capture a group photo.
- Family Fitness Fun – Run, jump, and stretch—capture teamwork in motion.
- Picnic & Read – Read outdoors and take a “Reading Under the Sky” photo.
- Pumpkin Patch or Farmers Market Visit – Choose fruits or pumpkins together.
- Helping Hands Clean-Up Day – Volunteer as a family and take a teamwork photo.
Capture & Reflect
- Post pictures on your Center Family Board or digital album.
- Add a short caption: “Look what we learned together!” or “We grow through play.”
- Share monthly moments using your center’s QR upload link.
